In addition to containing plenty of water, cucumbers also contain lots of vitamins and minerals as long as you keep the skin on. And, since they are low in calories, caregivers can offer them without worry of the older adult gaining weight.

Watermelon

For many people, watermelon is a favorite summertime snack—and with good reason! Watermelon is made up of about 92 percent water and is quite refreshing, especially when served chill.
